It is with a heavy heart that, due to personal and financial issues that are beyond my control, I will be closing down Zero Break Games and cancelling its projects. All assets and concepts respective to the unfinished work, including any progress thereof, will be put up for remittance to an alternate party if the circumstances permit; however, I will not have anything to do with the work after the date of this announcement. Although I would ideally close this down immediately, United States law requires a minimum advance notice of thirty days to be given to all parties respective to my business interests before I can do so. Therefore, and barring any sort of insolvency declaration, I am posting this now with the intention to fully wind down operations and evaluate my options for remittance of the respective assets no earlier than August 16, 2026.

I am disappointed that it has come to this respective to the circumstances; however, due to the extent of the issues which are responsible for this decision and the requisite matters thereof I do not have any other choice at this time. I have also cancelled all public relations activities (including a previously planned appearance at 2DCon Prime in Minneapolis) owing to the nature of the situation. Furthermore, these are decisions that are not made with a light touch: I am only doing so after having given careful thought to the matters in play following both the determination of the extent of the situation and the anticipated impacts on my ability to continue.

I am obviously disappointed that this journey will be coming to an end, but I remain hopeful that whatever options for the overall situation will be decided on will see the responsible circumstances be brought to a swift and definitive end to the extent of its possible requirements and durations for resolution, even though Zero Break Games is unable to continue during the course of this situation. Owing to Zero Break Games policy and my own personal privacy, I will not be disclosing the factors that led to this decision other than to say that the relevant specifics thereof have made it completely infeasible to continue at this time.

I wish you all the best and remain hopeful that all will be resolved soon with respect for the specifics, regardless of any personal costs from this situation that I may incur separately from the matters regarding the closure of Zero Break Games. Thank you all for being there through both good and bad, despite the fact that this is jultimately not meant to be at this time.
