The identity of Zero Break Games is making a major change. As a part of moving away from select portions of the Microsoft development ecosystem, and out of respect for the related design matters pertinent to the current logo (including but not limited to potential implied comparisons to the Microsoft logo square and the associated copyright implications which may result from this) it has been decided that the Zero Break Games logo will be changing in the near future. I am not required to state this, nor has there been an actual legal request for the logo to be redesigned; however, the change is being made out of precautionary measures for the circumstance.

This is not a decision that is being made lightly, and in fact there are notable logo differences in both font and colors which differentiate from the logo which is being referenced for comparison respective to this design change. With that being said, the similarities cannot be ignored for the sake of differentiation, and I do not wish to raise potential legal issues as Zero Break Games begins its move away from involvement in the respective developer programs.

Redesigning of the logo will take priority over developing the current slate of projects in order to maximize the time and effort required to do so while ensuring that any legal responses which do occur can be addressed both quickly and effectively, and the planning process will begin immediately. Whie it is regrettable that this change has to be made prior to any other work, it is also the duty and responsibility of Zero Break Games to make this change in order to protect its interests from any future issues which may arise, thereby necessitating this difficult decision.

A placeholder image will be drafted once work has begun on the updated logo, or if a legal challenge shall actually occur (whichever comes first). Please stay tuned for further updates on this matter as they become available.
