Zero Break Games is pleased to announce that Tail Force is approaching the second phase of development. Beginning in April 2025, principal production will begin on the code and design of the project, encompassing level layout and programming logic that will implement the game system’s behaviors, elements and structure. As well, the game’s logo has been completed to exemplify the contributions of the efforts of the Osiran Empire from what is now known as Aerodonia in resolving a matter of potential cataclysmic destruction relative to attempts to amplify the mana arts knowledge of their species.

Tail Force follows the Aerodonians as they adapt to life on Earth after their world is decimated by untold destruction which forces them to abandon their home as the effects of the cataclysm leave behind a hostile, dilapidated environment. Spread out among a society that is at its most advanced in the planet’s entire history, with even the most debilitated of citizens supported by technological advancements, the half-feline species of humanoid aliens quickly realizes that they have come across the perfect setup for rebuilding from what they have lost… if not for the fact that some of their own people are plotting to test the upper limits of their mana arts to levels that could risk a repeat incident. Luckily, the humans of Earth – at the behest of New York City police officers Kyla, Genni and Alan Larson – are quick to recognize the potential harm that could become of the forbidden mana experiments and collaborate with international authorities to form the titular Tail Force collective, bringing together top military and civil defense personnel from both species to face the threat head-on and stop its progress before all hell breaks loose.

Regarding gameplay, Tail Force will be structured to combine the battle skill weakness exploits from Megaman with the mana pool structure of The Legend of Zelda and the experience-based character growth of Dragon Quest. Players will experience the story in a non-linear structure where optimal progression is key (but not required) and the efficiency of their mana use increases as the story moves forward.

More information on Tail Force will be shared in the near future.
